Do you know what ATV Tires are? It’s okay; I didn’t either-I just knew that they were considered to be Specialty Tires that you can buy from any ATV Used Tires Shop around the corner.
Apparently, ATV stands for “All Terrain Vehicle” & these tires are specifically used on Quads. The whole purpose of ATV Tires is to go off-roading; simple, right? Since they’re big, chunky, & wide, they are known to do well & provide stability wherever & whenever you may go off-roading.
ATV Tires are mainly made for mud & Paddle Tires are typically manufactured for sand dunes. If you go off-roading a lot, make sure you figure out which tires you really need because if not, you could be flying all over the place; you know? Not only will it be safer for you, but your tires will last you longer (:
Gone Off-Roading,

On a lot of sedans today, you’ll see High Performance Tires ( or Specialty Tires )-like the ones that come on racing cars. “Why?”, you may ask; let me explain.
The main reason is because they offer way more benefits than your typical All-Season Tires that you buy from a New Used Tires shop. Since High Performance are used on racecars, & racecars usually generate more heat, these tires would be perfect for you if you drive around a lot; especially in the summer. When your tires overheat, they are more likely to blowout; hence, if you have High Performance Tires, you should be just fine.
Another bonus is that when you have High Performance Tires, you have better traction & better handling of your vehicle. The reason for this is because the tires have better tread so they can grip the road better. Better traction means better braking; which makes you safer in the end (:
Think about it,

Here are some random facts that you should know:

-Check your Tire Pressure on your California Used Tires , Utah Used Tires , etc.; every 2-4 Weeks; if you can.
-If your Transmission is Automatic, service it every 15,000-30,000 miles.
-When your air filter is dirty, you get poor fuel efficiency.
-Change your oil every 3,000 miles !
-The Timing Belt needs to be changed 60,000 miles.
-Make sure if you know if you have Specialty Tires or not.
& I think that should be good, right?

A tubeless tire is simply a tire without a tube. There are special tires & rims manufactured for this type of tire; they are built so when they are put together, they create an airtight seal. The good thing about these Tubeless Tires is that there is no rapid loss in pressure when you happen to puncture it with something sharp (obviously) by accident. The item that punctured the tire either stays in the tire & sometimes seals itself; or it can be displaced which causes the tire to lose its air little by little.
In order to have that special airtight seal, the tire & rim must always be perfectly clean (specifically in the contact area). If you ever puncture one of these Tubeless Tires, the hole can often be repaired with your average patch; but since the hole is really hard to find most of the time, I would suggest to place a standard tube inside your tire to repair the puncture.
Who knew there’d be Tubeless Tires, huh? I guess you can say they’re considered to be Specialty Tires that you can probably find at a Used Tire Recycling place, but let’s not get carried away with the “Special” part.

If you happen to have Performance Tires on that fabulous little car of yours, you know that these brands of tires are becoming more & more popular everyday. The reason for this is because High-Performance Tires offer all of the benefits of All-Season Tires, as well as more.
Since Performance Tires are used on NASCAR vehicles, you know that they’re built to withstand some pretty intense conditions; wouldn’t you agree? High-Performance Tires have better traction & better handling. Say you install Performance Tires on your car, you’ll notice your treads will last longer & your brakes would respond faster & more accurately.
So as you can see, High Performance Tires are Specialty Tires that not only for those fancy NASCAR drivers, but also for your average sedan cruising down the road- which means you’ll most likely find them at Used Tire Shops or even a place that sells Wholesale Used Tires .
Learning something new everyday,

These things are actually pretty cool. Say you get a nail in your tire or something; if you happen to have Run Flat Tires, it will be resistant to the effects of deflation when the nail & tire come in contact with each other. If it does happen to get punctured, no worries; you’ll be able to travel up to 100-200 miles at 55 MPH! How awesome is that, right?
There are advantages & disadvantages; like always. One major advantage is that you wouldn’t have to carry a spare wheel anymore! Hence, saves you gas since it’s so heavy to carry in your car. The disadvantage is that it can literally deform your tire which will cause it to have a higher percent of rolling resistance. Rolling resistance is, in a nutshell, something very bad that may be very expensive to repair. Instead of your wheel rotating with the car like it’s supposed to, it’d be dragging everywhere.
So I guess you can conclude that Run Flat Tires are Specialty Tires that you can find at Used Tire Shops - but you might want to call first to make sure you have them. This can either be a good or bad thing. I think it all depends on how well you drive & how cautious you are of your surroundings; but of course you’re the safest driver in the world, right? That makes 2 of us, plus the rest of the world.
Be safe,
Mykalanne.
