If you didn’t already know, Yokohama Used Tires & Yokohama New Tires is a Tire Company that is based out of Tokyo, Japan; this is how it’s really spelled : Yokohama Gomu Kabushiki-gaisha.
The company was started in 1917 in a joint venture that was between Yokohama Cable Manufacturing & B.F. Goodrich. When 1969 rolled around, the company finally decided to expand to the United States & rename themselves “Yokohama Tire Corporation”. The driving force behind this tremendous rise was the Aspec A300.
Ever since they made their presence here in the United States, they participate in the ALMS (The American Le Mans Series) & Red Line Time Attack. They are the official supplier tire supplier for the World Touring Car Championship .. which is a pretty big deal, right?
Off to the races,

This is pretty important; whether you think so or not. See, you can’t have your New & Used Tires too hot or they’ll blow .. & you can’t have them too cold because that’s just not the way that they work.
Here’s how it works; in a nutshell : The temperature grade that you have on your Dunlop Used Tires or whatever tires states how well your tire will perform under intense heat conditions. There are three grades that your tire can have : either an A, B, or a C. The temperature grades are given during a controlled test. The tire will be under specific & many speed tests until the tire is completely destroyed. If the tire can last a long time without being demolished, then it evidently deserves an A. It receives a C when it meets the minimum requirements that the government has established.
It really isn’t that hard to understand; but it’s kind of hard to determine if your New or Used Tires have an A, B, or C .. right? The best thing that you can do is call a manufacturer like Falken Used Tires or something & ask what grade your tire has; just in case you want to change your mind & buy another tire.
Hope this helps (:

When it comes to New Tires, everyone is satisfied with the performance, handling, & things like that. To be completely honest, if you have Used Tires , you can make them just as good as if you’ve bought new ones if you follow these easy steps:
1. Keep the Alignment aligned.
Alignment was designed to improve handling, cornering, & tire tread.
2. Switch Tire Manufacturers.
If you have Hankook Used Tires , I suggest you switch to Yokohama Used Tires because they will last longer & are built to carry a heavier load better than other Manufacturer’s Tires.
3. Pressure of Inflation.
Even though the front tires usually have a less PSI than the ones in the back, you will wear tread more evenly if you drive harder than longer. When you are planning to drive for a long while, just lower the pressure a little on each of your tires & you should be just fine.
Hope this helps,
Mykalanne.

It’s true; I even wrote an article about it, but let me just give you the basics.

So the Airless Tire was manufactured by Michelin Tire Company & Michelin Used Tires , the one with that man who’s kind of weird looking & in all white. You know which one I’m talking about .. right?
Anyway, since the tire has no air, you’re probably just wondering, “How does it work?” Well let me explain.
The tire has something like a band around the tire spokes. The band has tread just like a regular tire would. These bands usually work with the imperfections of the road & offer you a softer & more manageable ride. The tire spokes bend & are pretty flexible; which is what gives you the smooth ride. If you think about it, since our regular tires are just on shape & one size, this makes you feel all of the rocks & random gravel on the road, you know? I sure hope so.
It was manufactured in 2005 .. so I have no idea if they’re just trying to make it better or if it just didn’t work out.
Off to switch my tires,
Mykalanne.

I have only dreamed of going to Toronto & seeing all of the great things that they have to offer tourists; but I’m sure that it’s pretty much like LA .. wouldn’t you agree ? I mean, they have the same language, the same food, & I think in most areas, the same cars.
I’m sure there’s more than enough Toronto Used Tire Shops that have an abundance of Toronto Used Tires ; but go figure, right? I actually think that Toronto is like any other big city here in the U.S., they have things that are really popular & things that people really shouldn’t even see.
In other words, Toronto Used Tires & America’s Used Tires are essentially the same. They both go on vehicles that we use everyday, they both wear tread just as fast, & they both are just as important. No tire is better than the other & no tire is at a lower ranking .. unless you’re doing research on the Manufacturers .
Off to Canada,

Do you already have the Eco-Friendly car? Do you want the Eco-friendly used tires to go with it? Oh yeah, there’s Eco-Friendly Tires out there, & it just so happens that they’ve been out since February; but it’s taken me this long to figure it out.
Ecopia Tires are manufactured by Bridgestone Used Tires Company & are supposed to be really, really environmentally safe. They are made from recycled rubber & leave a smaller carbon footprint than your typical tire. They have a Low Rolling Resistance Tread Compound, a Narrow Tread Width, a Shallower Tread Depth, & even have an Optimized Internal Construction; how great, right?
The only good thing that I see about these tires is that they don’t emit as much greenhouse gases like other tires do; & they also save me money whenever I go to the pump. But overall, I’m glad that even tire companies are trying to make this world a better place to live (:
Off to plant a tree,

So in a test that took place in 2006, 41% of Bridgestone Used Tires & Firestone Used Tires customers said that after they replaced their tires, they noticed that their old tires would degrade poorly. Because of this, Firestone decided to do a little science project to figure out why this happened & of they can make the tires stronger even after they are taken off the vehicle.
One reason why the tires were degrading was because the rubber was hardening, which is something that impacts worn tire performance. As a result, they’ve manufactured a new type of rubber called EPC (Extended Performance Compound). This new type of rubber prevents the rubber from hardening. They actually say that this new type of rubber is better because it keeps the rubber softer, which means your tire will have a better grip on the road.
This is only one of the new designs they had come up with to satisfy customer’s needs; I’m sure there’ll be more if you keep reading my blog (:
Stay tuned !

Regardless of if you have Bridgestone Used Tires or Firestone Used Tires , you should never mix different tire manufacturers. It’s like mixing different rims for your car : it just won’t work. The only way you can mix tires is if the tire manufacturer says it’s okay; but that’s very rare.
The reason for this is because since different tires have different tread depth & different tread pattern, some tires may wear out faster while others take a longer time. The best suggestion that anyone would give you is that you should buy a new set of tires all together, from the same manufacturer / producer if you really needed it.
Since tires are such an important part of your vehicle & the comfort of your ride, it’s best to do what’s best for your car & ultimately, what’s best for you. There is really no need to buy 4 different tires for your car; it’s only more work for you & puts a major hole in your pocket, right?
Sincerely,
Mykalanne.

Studded Tires are Specialty Tires & are the tires that have the Metal Pins (“Studs”) sticking out from the actual tire. Considering all tires have a different tread depth, all of the studs differ in length. Studs usually have something called Tungsten Carbide pins that are within a round metal piece that is held in place by the flange that’s in the tire. There are, on average, 60-120 studs that are incorporated into each of the tire’s tread. The whole purpose of these pins is to protect the tire from ice & just get the car to where it needs to go.
If you didn’t know, Studded Tires have been around since like the 19th Century; who would’ve thought, huh? They became popular in Scandinavian Countries because they needed something to get through all of the snowy & ice roads.
I would consider only to buy them from a Manufacturer you trust .. like Goodyear Used Tires ; use these tires in cold & wintery conditions because if you use them on regular pavement, it would just make ditches & make you more vulnerable to hydroplaning when it’s raining.
Learning something new everyday,
Mykalanne.

I think you might already know this, but let me explain how it works; ready?
So your tires have “psi” numbers that have been included by the Manufacturers , right? Let’s pretend your tires are supposed to be filled to 35 psi. Tires are designed to have 6 square inches touching the floor at all times; which means if your tires are filled correctly, you should have 6 square inches touching the floor at all times. It really isn’t that hard.
Hypothetically, let’s pretend you took out some air & now you have 30 psi on your 24″ Used Tires from Bridgestone Used Tires . This means that there would be less air, which leads to more than 6 square inches hitting the ground. When you have more than what is required, than your engine is going to have a harder time getting your car moving when you’re at a dead stop.
See what I’m saying? So when you have properly inflated tires, you should be wasting the right amount of gas; but when you have improperly inflated tires, you end up burning a whole in your wallet.
Off to the gas station,
Mykalanne.
