Don’t know if you need to rotate your New or Used Tires ? That makes two of us, let’s figure it out together; okay?
1. If you just so happen to have Front Wheel Drive (which you most likely will have), you need to keep your Front tires in the best condition; by doing this, you can increase the grip your tires have with the road. Since you want to find out if your tires need to be rotated, just go ahead & grab a Tread Depth Gauge; which you can find at pretty much any Auto Parts Store & at all Used Tire Shops .
2. When you finally get to a point where you’re ready to check them, measure the tread line in the middle of your front tires. Take a note of the measurement.
3. After this is done, walk to the back of your car & do the same thing for your rear tires.
4. If the tread on your rear tires just so happens to be 1/32 of an inch thicker than the tires in the front of your vehicle, then you may need to have your tires rotated.
Pretty easy, right? I was even surprised that I can do it.
Off to the Tire Shop,
Mykalanne.
P.S : It’s not a valid coupon; just something to match the blog-so don’t get too carried away(:

Do you have Used Tires that are just occupying space in your garage? There’s a simple solution: Sell Them (: Super hard, right? Here are some steps that you may want to go by:
1. Analyze your tires & take notes on what’s wrong with them. After, grade them from an A-F. Please don’t exaggerate.
2. Put the ad in a newspaper.
3. Put the ad in your local community magazine.
4. Visit your local Used Tire Dealers & Used Tire Warehouse to see if they’ll buy your tires.
Of course, it’s not as easy as it sounds; there’s research to be done, calls to be made, & an extreme amount of patience to have. Either way, you can’t go wrong with selling your tires for making extra cash on the side (: If you’d like to know more, read this: Sell Your Used Tires

I have only dreamed of going to Toronto & seeing all of the great things that they have to offer tourists; but I’m sure that it’s pretty much like LA .. wouldn’t you agree ? I mean, they have the same language, the same food, & I think in most areas, the same cars.
I’m sure there’s more than enough Toronto Used Tire Shops that have an abundance of Toronto Used Tires ; but go figure, right? I actually think that Toronto is like any other big city here in the U.S., they have things that are really popular & things that people really shouldn’t even see.
In other words, Toronto Used Tires & America’s Used Tires are essentially the same. They both go on vehicles that we use everyday, they both wear tread just as fast, & they both are just as important. No tire is better than the other & no tire is at a lower ranking .. unless you’re doing research on the Manufacturers .
Off to Canada,
Mykalanne.

Do you know what ATV Tires are? It’s okay; I didn’t either-I just knew that they were considered to be Specialty Tires that you can buy from any ATV Used Tires Shop around the corner.
Apparently, ATV stands for “All Terrain Vehicle” & these tires are specifically used on Quads. The whole purpose of ATV Tires is to go off-roading; simple, right? Since they’re big, chunky, & wide, they are known to do well & provide stability wherever & whenever you may go off-roading.
ATV Tires are mainly made for mud & Paddle Tires are typically manufactured for sand dunes. If you go off-roading a lot, make sure you figure out which tires you really need because if not, you could be flying all over the place; you know? Not only will it be safer for you, but your tires will last you longer (:
Gone Off-Roading,

On a lot of sedans today, you’ll see High Performance Tires ( or Specialty Tires )-like the ones that come on racing cars. “Why?”, you may ask; let me explain.
The main reason is because they offer way more benefits than your typical All-Season Tires that you buy from a New Used Tires shop. Since High Performance are used on racecars, & racecars usually generate more heat, these tires would be perfect for you if you drive around a lot; especially in the summer. When your tires overheat, they are more likely to blowout; hence, if you have High Performance Tires, you should be just fine.
Another bonus is that when you have High Performance Tires, you have better traction & better handling of your vehicle. The reason for this is because the tires have better tread so they can grip the road better. Better traction means better braking; which makes you safer in the end (:
Think about it,

So we all know that the Penny Test works on tires that you get from places that sell Wholesale Used Tires & regular Manufacturers .. right? If you don’t, just read the blog about it. Anyway, there’s something new called the “Quarter Test”. Let’s get a thorough explanation on all tests, shall we?
The Original Penny Test
–When you place your penny upside down on the tread of your tire, you have 2/32” of tread depth left.
–If you turn it around & the top of the Lincoln Memorial is covered, you have 6/32” of tread depth left.
The Quarter Test
–Place a quarter upside down; just like you would the penny. If Washington’s head just so happens to always be covered by the tread, you have 4/32” of tread depth left.
–So now if you don’t have a penny, you can use a Quarter; or vice versa.
Just like the Penny Test, it shouldn’t matter if you look at your Tires by Size , the Quarter Test should work (:
Off to measure,
Mykalanne.

Tire Ratings are put out there by Falken Used Tires , Manufacturers , & Used Tire Dealers so that consumers can study how safe the tire is, if it’s appropriate for certain conditions, & to see if they can find a rough estimate of how long they’ll last before they have to buy new ones. Usually, the ratings are printed right on the tire; while some tires may have their ratings on certain databases that are maintained by government agencies. Before someone buys a tire, they should consider researching the tire ratings before hand.
If you really don’t have time to research them, then just look on the tires. The tire itself should have the size & type of tire that it is. There is typically also a number / letter combination like “90T”. This indicates how much weight the tire can handle & the maximum speed that it should go; which is usually the speed limit!
All manufacturers rate their tires differently, so just be sure to do your research.
Thanks for reading,
Mykalanne.

It sounds like a joke, but it most certainly is not. There’s something that you can find at most Auto Stores called “Fix-A-Flat” & it comes in a can. It’s safe to carry in your car whether it’s cold or hot outside; so I’m guessing all you really need to do is find out is how to use it (:
1. Pull over to a safe area where there’s no cars coming at you & get the can.
2. Screw the can onto your Valve Stem & you’ll start to hear your tire fill with air.
3. When it’s done filling up with air, drive your car as soon as you can so that the sealant can circulate evenly inside the tire.
I’m sure they sell these at Used Tire Equipment Shops & random Used Tire Shops , also. Whenever you have a chance, take your car to a tire shop so they can repair it professionally (:
How cool, huh?

We all know it takes a while to break in the new tires that you bought from that Wholesale Used Tires place , so here are some steps to help guide you through what you need to do (:
1. Stay away from dirt roads, gravel roads, construction sites, etc.
2. Don’t accelerate too fast & don’t brake too hard.
3. Never go above 50 Miles Per Hour (I know the sign is Danish, but just bare with me).
4. Stay away from Automatic Car Washes.
Hopefully this has helped you .. somewhat. If anything, you can read this article: Break in Your New Tires & that should be more clear (:

Do you think it’s time to change your tires, but you have no idea how old they are? No problem, that’s the exact reason why I’m here: to help you with these fascinating questions.
Remember this is only going to be something that you go by; your tires may have completely different numbers, okay? Most Used Tire Shops & Manufacturers imprint this on their wheels : Let’s say you have DOT U2LL LMLR 5107 around the rim on your tire, okay? DOT stands for Department of Transportation; which really isn’t that important. The “51” means it was made the 51st week of the 2007 year. Easy, right? Let’s try another: DOT EJ8J DFM 408. The 40 means the 40th week & the “8” means the 8th year of the decade. I think that one is a little more complicated.
Anyway, I hope this helps (:
Here for your tire needs,
Mykalanne.
