It’s pretty brief so just be ready for it :
1. The reason why New & Used Winter Tires / New & Used Snow Tires are different from regular tires is because they have specific tread patterns that are customized to dig down & bite into the snow & ice. They are also made from rubber compounds that are much softer from the ordinary one that you see on All-Season Tires.
2. All-Season Tires are not as good in the Winter time as New or Used Winter Tires are. An easy way to actually understand the difference is to think of All-Season Tires as regular sneakers that you can wear everyday & New / Used Winter Tires would be the snow boots that you belt on whenever you go to the mountains. Are you getting a better picture?
3. If you’re thinking about getting New or even Used Winter Tires & have the idea of just putting it on the Front Wheels; don’t do it. The reason why is because when you do this & drive in the snow, your Rear Wheels are not going to have any grip on the slippery road; which means that you can most likely spin out of control ):
These are the three basic things that you should remember when mounting & driving on New & Used Winter Tires . I hope it helps !
Off to the mountains,

Have a certain question about your New & Motorcycle Used Tires ? Want me to answer them? Of course you do (:
To be completely honest, there is no specific amount of time that is given for the life of tires; it all depends on the type of the tire, the kind or motorcycle you have, what kind of driver you are .. so hopefully you’re a good one, but let’s go over the “Categories”, shall we?
If you tend to drive fast, you might want to consider a Soft Sport Tire for your bike. They won’t last you that long, but they’re meant to get a better grip on the road. If you just stick to interstates & highways for bike riding, then you’ll notice that your tires will last longer compared to the bikes that are driven on the regular street.
If you’re one to just bust out your bike on special occasions, your tires might develop something called dry rot. This means that the tire has probably gone flat & the weight of the motorcycle would eventually cause the sidewall to crack.
So I guess it all depends on how you ride your bike & how often you ride it; right?
Drive safely!

In a study, the NHTSA said that there are too many people on the road that are driving with 16″ Used Tires that are bald; & the local gas stations aren’t really making this problem any better. Statistics researched by the NHTSA state that an approximate 9% of passenger cars that you see on the road today have at least one bald tire; there are a lot of gas stations that don’t provide the air pumps that they’re supposed to.
14% of gas stations in the United States do not have air pumps or malfunctioning pumps. Not only that, the pumps that do have air pumps do not always have the pressure gauges that should go along with it .. which is a “no-no”.
In July 2001 - which was NINE years ago - the NHTSA regulated that all vehicles need to have Tire Pressure Monitoring & Warning Systems in Passenger Cars & Light Trucks.
Now you’re totally safe !
Off to the gas station,

Do your New & Kumho Used Tires keep going flat & you have no idea why? Here are some things that you should check :
1. Inflate your tire / wheel so it’s at 40 PSI.
2. Either buy or make a mixture of soapy water & spray it onto your tires & wheels.
3. Mark the areas where the bubbles appear with a tire crayon.
4. If some leaks in the wheel are found after this is done, do the steps above to reseal the tire (:
The main reason why a Modular Wheel / Tire leaks is because the person that is changing or changed the tire stuck their tire spoon into the silicone seal & evidently damaged it during the mounting of the tire. So just be sure you trust the person that is changing your tire (:

According to their website, Q Tires is a new technology for tires that is supposed to keep you & your family ultra safe during the dangerous Winter Seasons. They claimed to have manufactured the very first All-Season Tire that has deployable & withdrawing studs that you would normally use for the Icy & Snow covered roads; which means you would no longer have to use New or Used Winter Tires . I think the term that they would prefer to describe their tires is “Cooperative” or “Versatile”.
The whole way this works goes a little something like this:
These wheels have a wireless & driver activated technology, right? Okay, this lets the stud “appear” when it senses ice or snow on the road; & when there is nothing on the road except the gravel or cement or whatever you drive on, it retracts them automatically! It’s like it does all of the work for you!
This new technology is supposed to rid of road damage that is normally caused by permanent studs. So .. is it a good thing or a bad thing? Is it worth all of that money? You decide because I live in California where there’s no snow (:
Waiting for your response,

Do you have some trouble (like me) when it comes to buying New Used Tires for your vehicle? Lucky for you, I’ve included some Buying Tips in this blog to help you (:
1. Know the basics of your tire .. basically.
For example, the width, profile, & diameter size; this should all be printed on the Sidewall of the tire.
2. Choose the right tire.
-Make sure you know the right size! Here’s an example: “225 / 50 R 16 60 H M+S”
-225: Width; 50: Profile; R: Radial Construction; 16: Rim Size (Diameter); 60: Load Rating; H: Speed Rating; M+S: All-Season Driving”.
3. Know where to buy your tires.
If you go to a dealership, you know you’re going to feel lighter because it’ll put a hole in your wallet; if you go to your local Used Tire Shops , you’ll easily pay half.
4. Think about your driving habits.
Do you drive a lot? Do you carry heavy stuff? Do you drive over a rough terrain? Buy the tires that your vehicle needs & the ones that will most likely fit your driving style.
5. Know your tire tech ..
Since Manufacturers like Michelin Used Tires are always changing their tires & how they work, make sure you just stick with the ORIGINAL technology because that is what works best on your car.
6. Reflect on the fuel economy .. especially since we’re in a recession.
Some big shot at Bridgestone Firestone said that depending on the tire you buy, you can see a 15-20% difference in your fuel economy.
7. Take care of your tires !
I don’t even think I need to remind you to take care of them .. that’s a given (:
Hope this helps,
Mykalanne.

When it comes to New Tires, everyone is satisfied with the performance, handling, & things like that. To be completely honest, if you have Used Tires , you can make them just as good as if you’ve bought new ones if you follow these easy steps:
1. Keep the Alignment aligned.
Alignment was designed to improve handling, cornering, & tire tread.
2. Switch Tire Manufacturers.
If you have Hankook Used Tires , I suggest you switch to Yokohama Used Tires because they will last longer & are built to carry a heavier load better than other Manufacturer’s Tires.
3. Pressure of Inflation.
Even though the front tires usually have a less PSI than the ones in the back, you will wear tread more evenly if you drive harder than longer. When you are planning to drive for a long while, just lower the pressure a little on each of your tires & you should be just fine.
Hope this helps,
Mykalanne.

It’s true; I even wrote an article about it, but let me just give you the basics.

So the Airless Tire was manufactured by Michelin Tire Company & Michelin Used Tires , the one with that man who’s kind of weird looking & in all white. You know which one I’m talking about .. right?
Anyway, since the tire has no air, you’re probably just wondering, “How does it work?” Well let me explain.
The tire has something like a band around the tire spokes. The band has tread just like a regular tire would. These bands usually work with the imperfections of the road & offer you a softer & more manageable ride. The tire spokes bend & are pretty flexible; which is what gives you the smooth ride. If you think about it, since our regular tires are just on shape & one size, this makes you feel all of the rocks & random gravel on the road, you know? I sure hope so.
It was manufactured in 2005 .. so I have no idea if they’re just trying to make it better or if it just didn’t work out.
Off to switch my tires,
Mykalanne.

As we all know, Honda Rincon’s is an ATV that’s made by .. Honda.
The Rincon was first introduced in 2003 & was immediately known as their Top-Of-The-Line ATV. The Rincon uses Radial Off Road Used Tires as well as new ones. These are based on popular styles that you see on ATV’s today. You can most likely buy these tires at any Off Road Used Tires shop or even a Used Tire Equipment shop.
Anyway, the 2003 Rincon became known as the “Cadillac of ATV’s” because it was that great of an ATV. The reason why they named it this was because no matter how long you ride on this vehicle, it provide unlimited comfort for that tooshy of yours. It has a 675cc Engine, has an Automatic Transmission, has Independent Suspension, & weighs about 604 lb., so try not to carry it.
I really don’t know much about ATV’s except that I always fall off of them whenever I go off-roading, but I do know that the Honda Rincon is pretty much money well spent.
Off to the desert,
Mykalanne.

Farm Tractor Used Tires are probably the best tires that you can get for your Farm vehicle. The reason for this is because the Used Tires are already broken into & most likely won’t go out on you all of a sudden.
Just like any other tire, they need to be well taken care of-just like the wheels on your car. You should check the air pressure frequently, make sure they have no nails in them, & just be mindful that since they are used on a tougher terrain, the tread may wear faster; which means that you may need to replace them more often-which is no problem.
If you visit your local Junk Yard, I’m sure you’ll find the tires that you need & may even be able to buy akcertain amount of tires by the bulk for a low price; which is great so you don’t have to go back & forth every so often .. right?
Off to feed some pigs,
Mykalanne.
